Delta State’s Brown presents lecture in Jackson

Dr. Luther Brown, director of the Delta State University Delta Center for Culture and Learning, presented a noontime lecture at the William F. Winter Archives and History Building in Jackson on April 7 as part of the "History is Lunch" series. 

 

 

 

 

His title was "High Water Everywhere: the Great Flood of 1927 and How it Changed America."  The History as Lunch series is funded by the Mississippi Humanities Council and offers free public presentations every two weeks. Information is available at http://mdah.state.ms.us/admin/hil.html
