Delta State Dean of the College of Business Dr. Billy Moore welcome MVSU students and staff to the Baioni Conference Center of Broom Hall.

Delta State recently hosted a tour of the campus for 15 Mississippi Valley State University juniors and seniors interested in attending graduate school at Delta State.

The Valley students were on the campus for about four hours, with their tour beginning with greetings from Delta State Provost Dr. Ann Lotven and Delta State Dean of Graduate and Continuing Studies Dr. Albert Nylander. Nylander stated: “We want to make sure we provide students the opportunity to see the campus and what it would be like as a graduate student at Delta State University.”

A meeting in the Baioni Conference Center of Broom Hall gave the Valley students a chance to ask questions about admission requirements and graduate programs. The students also had the opportunity to meet with the graduate coordinators of their particular field of study. They also visited the Delta State Natatorium where the New South Intercollegiate Swim Conference Championships were being held. The tour ended with the Valley students meeting Delta State University President Dr. John Hilpert, who encouraged them to attend graduate school at Delta State.
