Delta State University’s Career Services will be sponsoring its annual “Fall Teacher Recruitment Day,” Thursday, Nov. 1 at 9 a.m. – noon on the second floor lobbies of the H.L. Nowell Union on campus.
“Career fairs are a great way for not only our faculty, staff and students to interact with employers throughout the region, but also the community,” Christy Montesi, Director of Career Services at Delta State offered. “We encourage the community to join us.”
Also, on the day, Delta State students will be provided the opportunity to network with corporate and school recruiters. The situation allows for students to “get a foot in the door as they begin their job searches,” Montesi continued.
Approximately 30 school districts will be on campus, including Cleveland School District, Jackson Public Schools, Madison County School District, Pascagoula School District and Tupelo Public School District.
The event is free and open to the public.
