Delta State to host the Margaret Tullos Field Symposium on March 4

The Delta State Department of Social Work will serve as host to the Margaret Tullos Field Symposium on Wednesday, March 4, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Henry J. Jacobs Conference Center of James M. Ewing Hall on the campus

 
Registration will be held from 8 to 8:45 a.m. on the day of the conference. 
 
Guest speaker for the event is Tina M. Souders, MSW, LCSW, JD, a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill School of Social Work and Director of the Winston-Salem Distance Education MSW Program.  
 
Souders will familiarize participants with key ethical principles, values and standards from the social work profession.
 
Social workers that attend will receive .63 SWU’s and counselors will receive 5.5 contact hours.
