By September 16, 2009General

The Delta State University Mississippi Small Business Development Center and Mississippi Technology Alliance are sponsoring a series of informal networking opportunity workshops entitled “Discovery Luncheon” at various locations across the Delta for innovative entrepreneurs and those resource providers with whom they work closely.

Greenville will host the first workshop scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 30, at noon in Delta Economic Development Center of Washington County at 342 Washington Avenue, Suite 201.

The purpose of the workshop is to build those critical networks of contacts that are vital to the growth and development of small businesses in the Mississippi Delta.

Over lunch, attendees are treated to brief presentations from a service provider and successful innovation-based entrepreneur.

The workshop is free and open to the public. Reservations are required to assure the appropriate numbers of meals are prepared.

Entrepreneurs and those involved in economic development are invited and encouraged to attend. You may reserve your seat by contacting the Christie Sledge or Cindy Steele at the DSU MSBDC at (662) 846-4236 or e-mail to dsusbdc@deltastate.edu.
