Delta State takes young farmers and ranchers on heritage tour

Lee Aylward, of the Delta State University Delta Center for Culture and Learning (third from left in the front row) lead a heritage tour for members of the Mississippi Farm Bureau Young Farmers and Ranchers on March 6. 

 
After leaving Staplcotn in Greenwood, the group went to see how rice is grown and handled at Milburn Growers in Minter City, hosted by Dekoka Davidson. 
 
In Ruleville, they saw the big game animals on display at Billy Marlow’s Lion’s Den followed by the Hollywood costumes at Ye Old Place Café and Costume Museum with Luster Bayless.
