Delta State University Graduate and Continuing Studies Dean Albert Nylander and other members of his office recently travelled to Rust College in Holly Springs to speak to students interested in attending graduate school at Delta State. “There were several interested students who will be coming to Delta State for a campus visit and hope to make Cleveland their home while pursuing a graduate degree,” stated Nylander.

Nylander also made a stop at Batesville Elementary School at the invitation of the school’s Vice Principal and Delta State alumnae, Rachel Pickett, to speak to teachers interesting in taking graduate classes. “Our teachers are always looking for ways to elevate their quality of teaching, so it was good to have an actual dean come to our school to explain what is available through Delta State and help with the questions and application process which is usually done online or by phone,” commented LaSherry Irby, principal of Batesville Elementary.
