Delta State offers highly anticipated degree program

By January 7, 2009General

Delta State University’s College of Business now is offering the opportunity to attain a bachelor’s degree without coming to the Cleveland campus.Last fall, the college rolled out its highly anticipated 2+2 program with Mississippi Delta Community College (MDCC) at the Greenville Higher Education Center. This program allows MDCC students to apply their academic credits earned at MDCC towards a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.

“We created this program with students in mind,” said Melissa Stewart, Coordinator of Continuing Education at Delta State. “We often hear feedback from students desiring to attend Delta State but are often held back by the financial hardship in commuting to Cleveland. With our 2+2 program, students in Washington County and surrounding areas can complete both their associate and bachelor degrees in business in Greenville.”
