Delta State Hosts 32nd F. E. Woodall Conference for the Helping Professions

Delta State University’s Division of Counselor Education and Psychology and Chi Sigma Iota – Delta Sigma Upsilon Chapter sponsored the 32nd F. E. Woodall Conference for the Helping Professions on April 3rd. A record number of 180 helping professionals attended a variety of informative and useful workshops for counselors, social workers, mental health therapists, and marriage and family specialists throughout the state and surrounding areas. Delta State University was honored to have Dr. Bradley Erford, the current president of the American Counseling Association (ACA), as the keynote speaker at the luncheon. Erford is a professor in the school counseling program of the Education Specialties Department in the School of Education at Loyola University Maryland. He has authored or edited more than 15 books, published several dozen refereed journal articles, more than 100 book chapters, and ten published tests.
