Delta Got Gospel presented by DMI

Delta Got Gospel is an exciting new event on Delta State University’s campus produced by the Delta Music Institute. The event will serve as an annual regional gospel music festival and competition held on the stage of the Bologna Performing Arts Center.

The inaugural Delta Got Gospel is scheduled for April 19, 2015. Jasmine Murray, the reigning Miss Mississippi, will perform and serve as host. 

Contestants can register for the competition online at deltagotgospel.com. Submissions require a 90-second video posted on YouTube, and the link must be sent via email to deltagotgospel@gmail.comThe registration period closes Feb. 28 at 11:59 p.m. CST.

The grand prize winner will receive a cash prize, a fully produced CD from the DMI and 100 copies of the finished product.

The Delta Music Institute is an independent center of study under the College of Arts and Sciences at Delta State University, offering a bachelor’s degree in Entertainment Industry Studies.
