Delta State Continuing Education has a full line up of holiday classes for children in grades K4 – sixth grade throughout the holiday season. Pre-registration is required for all classes due to limited space and supplies.
– Holiday Canvas Painting: Children in grades first through sixth will be guided through the process of painting a holiday canvas to take home. This class will be offered Monday, Nov. 27 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. for $25 per child (all supplies included). Deadline to register is required by Tuesday, Nov. 21 at 5 p.m.
– Mini Merry Makers: Children in grades K4 and K5 and 5k will make several holiday crafts and ornaments using paint, glue, clay and other materials. This class will be offered Tuesday, Nov. 28 from 4 to 5 p.m. for $20 (all supplies included). Deadline to register is required by Tuesday, Nov. 21 at 5 p.m.
– Holiday Cookie Decorating: Children in grades third through sixth will learn how to decorate several holiday cookies with icing. Each child will be able to take their cookies home after decoration. This class will be held Monday, Dec. 4 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. for $25 (all supplies included). Deadline to register is Thursday, Nov. 30 by 5 p.m.
– Kids in the Kitchen (gingerbread houses): Children in grades first and second will decorate a gingerbread house with icing and candy. This class will be held Wednesday, Dec. 6 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. for $25 (all supplies included). Deadline to register is Monday, Dec. 4 at 5 p.m.
– Lil Bakers (Gingerbread Houses): Children in grades K4 and K5 will learn to decorate a gingerbread house with icing and candies. This class will be held Monday, Dec. 11 from 4 to 5 p.m. for $20 (all supplies included). Deadline to register is Thursday, Dec. 7 at 5 p.m.
