The Delta State University Alumni Association will host its annual alumni gathering with DeSoto County and Memphis alumni at Christian Brothers University on Saturday, February 2 in conjunction with the Lady Statesmen and Statesmen basketball doubleheader versus Christian Brothers University.
“I’d like to encourage all alumni and friends who will be in the Memphis area Saturday to come out and watch the basketball games with your fellow alums,” said Jessica Johnson, Memphis Chapter president.
Refreshments and appetizers will be served at the social, which is set to begin at 1 p.m. inside St. Joseph Hall, Room 10. Look for Delta State University signs leading you to the gathering. All alumni, friends and students are invited to attend.
“We sincerely appreciate the tremendous support and passion of our Delta State University alums, friends, and fans!” said Head Men’s Basketball Coach Jim Boone. “I am hopeful you will have an opportunity to visit and watch our team play in Memphis in a most important GSC game this Saturday.
