The Department of Music presents a faculty recital with Anne-Gaëlle Ravetto (left) and Dr. Jung-Won Shin March 3 at 7:30 p.m. in the Recital Hall of the Bologna Performing Arts Center.The Delta State University Department of Music presents Anne-Gaëlle Ravetto on violin and Dr. Jung-Won Shin on piano in a faculty recital March 3 at 7:30 p.m. in the Recital Hall of the Bologna Performing Arts Center.
The concert, entitled “A Sonic Journey-Iconic Violin Masterpieces,” will feature works by Bach, Beethoven and Grieg.
Ravetto, an adjunct faculty member of the Delta State University Department of Music, serves as a collaborative artist, provides instruction in the music education curriculum and maintains a private teaching studio.
Shin is an associate professor of music at Delta State University. She has appeared in concerts in the U.S., Korea, and Canada, performing piano solo and duo works, instrumental chamber works, collaborative vocal works and choral music.
