By December 4, 2019Alumni, Community, Foundation

Thirty-two donors gave almost $3,750 to Delta State University’s second annual day of giving, #GivingTuesday.

Watch our thank-you video, starring DSU students, acknowledging those who participated in the 24-hour fundraiser, themed “I Am Delta State,” that occurred on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2019.

Some two-dozen donors were first-time givers to Delta State.

Donors spanned DSU students, faculty, staff, administration, alumni, and friends. They came largely from Mississippi—mostly Cleveland, also Clinton, Greenwood, Gunnison, Hernando, Jackson, Shaw, Sidon, Water Valley, and West Point. Donors also gave from Austin, Bay City, and Wylie in Texas; from Trussville and West Point in Alabama; from Lake Village, Ark; and from Aurora, Ill.

Donations ranged from $1 to $1,000, with the most popular amounts $25, $50, and $100.

Watch our promotional video in which Delta State students explain how they’re Delta State—and why giving to DSU makes a positive difference in the lives of students.
