Delta State to Hold Press Conference on Monday, Nov. 12 to Announce Incoming Director of Intercollegiate Athletics

Cleveland, MS — Delta State University will hold a press conference on Monday, Nov. 12 at 11 AM to announce its incoming director of intercollegiate athletics.

The press conference will take place on the second floor of the Chadwick-Dickson Intercollegiate Athletic Building on the university campus.

The incoming athletic director—the sixth in school history—will succeed Ronnie Mayers, a Delta State alumnus who will be retiring at the end of this year after 42 years of service, including the past five as athletic director.

Media are invited to attend the press conference and participate in a Q&A.
