Aaron J. Sassenrath-Cole Delta State’s Spring Congressional Fellow

Aaron J. Sassenrath-Cole has been named Delta State University’s Congressional Fellow for spring 2019.

A junior pursuing a bachelor of science in wildlife management and a bachelor of applied science in geospatial analysis and intelligence, he will serve in Sen. Roger Wicker’s office in Washington, D.C. from January through May, gaining direct knowledge of the systems of Congress, developing awareness of public policy issues that affect the Delta region, and helping to provide constituent services and track legislation, among other responsibilities. By working on a broad range of legislative issues considered by congressional committees and federal agencies, Sassenrath-Cole will be directly involved with the legislative process and national decision-making.

The opportunity is a collaboration between Delta State University, Delta Council, and Staplcotn.
