Jumpstart is looking for volunteers

By August 16, 2017

Jumpstart is a national early education organization working toward the day every child in America enters kindergarten prepared to succeed. The organization is looking for volunteers

Jumpstart recruits caring adults to work with preschool-age children on reading, writing and social skills. Jumpstart Corps members serve 10-12 hours a week in local early childhood centers, partnered with a small group of children. For those eligible, college students can potentially earn Federal Work-Study and a Segal AmeriCorps Education Award in the process. Gain valuable skills and experience and make a difference in the life of a child.

Jumpstart is an AmeriCorps partner of Delta Reads Plus.
