The Department of Art hosts Portfolio Day April 17 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.The Delta State Department of Art welcomes prospective art students to attend Portfolio Day April 17 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Wright Art Gallery on campus.
The purpose of the portfolio review is to guide and encourage the development of promising artists.
Faculty will review student artwork, discuss educational and professional goals and share information on art programs, careers, admissions and financial aid.
Participating students will receive a campus tour, undergo a portfolio judging and partake in an art department cookout.
Those who submit portfolios for review will be eligible for scholarships. Portfolio Day scholarships range from $500-$2000.
