Purchase Pig Pickin' tickets by Sept. 24 to be entered in a drawing for a 35-quart Yeti cooler and a free night’s stay at the Alluvian in Greenwood.The Delta State University National Alumni Association recently announced a giveaway for alumni and friends who purchase Pig Pickin’ BBQ tickets. Patrons who purchase tickets by Sept. 24 will be entered in a drawing for a 35-quart Yeti cooler — donated by the Alumni Association — and a free night’s stay at the Alluvian in Greenwood.
Tickets are $6 and can be pre-purchased at the Hugh Ellis Walker Alumni-Foundation House or online at www.deltastategiving.org/alumniassociation/pigpickin.
The winners of the cooler and the free night’s stay will be announced Sept. 25 at noon via the Alumni Association’s Facebook (Statesmen Graduates), Twitter (@DSU_Alumni) and Instragram (@dsualumni) accounts.
Pig Pickin’ fans should also be on the lookout for official Pig Pickin’ T-shirts. This year’s shirt will sport a new design and be on sale for $15. More information will be provided when tees are available for purchase.
