Delta Music Institute director Tricia Walker joins the DMI All-Stars and DMI students for a fundraiser performance Feb. 25 at the Cleveland Country Club.

The Delta Music Institute All-Stars, with special guest Tricia Walker, will perform music made famous by Mississippi GRAMMY artists on Feb. 25 at the Cleveland Country Club at 7 p.m. Also appearing will be Jessica Faith, one of three national winners in the GRAMMY Amplify contest, and Justin Boatman, recording artist for Fighting Okra Records.

The event is a fundraiser to benefit 10 DMI students who will be traveling to Washington, D.C. next month to attend the educational program “I Am Every Woman: The Women of Soul.” The program, which will be held March 6 at the White House, is sponsored by the GRAMMY Museum in Los Angeles. The students’ trip to the nation’s capital will also include several tours in Washington.

Funds raised from the evening of performances will help cover the students’ travel expenses. Donations will be accepted at the door. Everyone is invited to come out and support the DMI program by enjoying great music, food, beverages and time with friends. Admission is free and there will be complimentary hors d’oeuvres with a cash bar.
