Wind Ensemble concert Nov. 17 at 3:30 p.m. at the BPACThe Delta State University Wind Ensemble will present the Annual Fall Concert on Nov. 17 at 3:30 p.m. in the Bologna Performing Arts Center on the main stage.
Under the direction of Dr. Joe D. Moore, band director and assistant professor of music, the ensemble will perform works ranging from classical to jazz written by composers from all over the world.
“The Delta State University Wind Ensemble is comprised of the top wind and percussion instrumentalists on our campus. The 40 members of the ensemble are chosen through auditions at the beginning of the school year and perform for campus and community events throughout the year,” said Moore. “They also play an integral part in recruiting by going on tour and hosting the annual DSU High School Honors Band.”
