Delta State’s Department of Art, Roberts-LaForge Library and the Capps Archives will host a First Tuesday program entitled “BluesLand” by Easton Selby on Nov. 7 from 12:10-1:00 p.m. in the Charles W. “BluesLand” is part of a larger body of work entitled “Photographic Interpretations: The Culture & Geography of the Delta Blues,” which was a collaborative documentary between Selby, photographers Armon Mean and Josh Vincent and historian Dr. John Strait of Sam Houston State University.

Selby received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from Delta State and completed his Master of Fine Arts in Visual Arts at Clemson University. He currently teaches photography at Coastal Carolina University.

The First Tuesday programs are free and open to the public. Those attending may bring a brown bag lunch. Coffee will be provided.
