Delta State University President Addresses Presbyterian Day School 2013 Graduation

Delta State President William N. LaForge recently gave the graduation address to twenty-one sixth-graders from Presbyterian Day School.  He left the young teens with a message, “As you move on to middle school, high school, and college, remember to always take with you the two V’s in life—virtues and values.”

The graduates moving on to middle school are: Caleb Owens, Nicholas Brown, Stephen LaMasters Jr., Colin Morgan, Olivia Price, Magnolia Sledge, Elizabeth Smith, Joseph Tarver, Bryant Armstrong, Leland Capocaccia, Christin Fuentes, Jian Galas, Harlon Hankins, Daniel Martin, Caleigh Moorhead, Madeline Price, Elliot Stallings, Abby Stone, Anna Stone, Jane Warlick, and John Whalen.  

The Jean Knott House 1st Honor Award went to Caleb Owens. This award was established in 2009 by the Presbyterian Day School Board in honor of Mrs. House for her many years of service and dedication to Presbyterian Day School. The other graduating honor students are:  Nicholas Brown, Stephen LaMasters Jr., Colin Morgan, Olivia Price, Magnolia Sledge, Elizabeth Smith, and Joseph Tarver.
