Dollar General managers get Delta heritage tour

By December 10, 2012General

The Delta Center for Culture and Learning at Delta State University recently provided a heritage tour for human resources managers from Dollar General.  The managers came to the Delta from as far away as Florida, California and Texas, where they each manage large distribution centers for the company.  They held their business meetings at the B. B. King Museum and Delta Interpretive Center, and visited the grave of Civil Rights leader Fannie Lou Hamer, the birthplace of the Blues at Dockery Farms, and the last rural juke joint, Po’ Monkey’s Lounge.
