Delta State’s HPER Recreational Leadership Program designs winning logo for NIRSA Workshop

By December 11, 2012General

Todd Davis, Delta State University recreation leadership instructor and director of the outdoor recreation education program under the Dave Heflin Professorship, submitted a winning program logo/design for the National Intramural/Recreational Sports Association Co-State Conference. The logo will be showcased on the national website, printed on all conference materials, and placed on the official NIRSA Facebook site.

“This recognition is an excellent opportunity to showcase the College of Education and our recreation leadership program at the state and national level,” said Davis. “Delta State is the only recreation program in Mississippi or Alabama to have three undergraduate students presenting, and we’re talking about schools like Auburn, Ole Miss, Alabama, Miss State, and UAB.  This is pretty huge!  Excited is an understatement.”
