The Delta State Alumni Association will travel to Nashville, Tenn., Monday, November 5 to see the Statesmen basketball team take on the Commodores of Vanderbilt University at Memorial Gymnasium at 7 p.m. The Delta State Alumni Association will host a social for all alumni and Delta State supporters in the Nashville area prior to the game at the Holiday Inn Vanderbilt Commodore Grille from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
“We are very excited to have this opportunity for our program and our student athletes to experience a quality athletic venue such as Vanderbilt,” said Head Coach Jim Boone. “This experience will create memories for our guys that will last a life time. As well, we are very excited for our fans, friends, and alums in the Nashville area, to have an opportunity to see their Statesmen in action close to home.”
The Alumni Association would like to encourage all alumni and friends in the Nashville area to come to the social and then support the Statesmen as they take on the Commodores. Tickets are available through the Alumni Association for a limited time only.
