On Thursday, September 27, at 3 p.m., in Jobe Hall Auditorium, Delta State University will welcome Dr. Randall Norris, Professor of American Studies at Sauk Valley Community College in Dixon, Illinois to campus. Norris is a renowned scholar and author of the book “Highway 61: Heart of the Delta” which was published in 2008 by the University of Tennessee Press.
Norris’s presentation will be based on essays, interviews, and photographs from Highway 61. This event is free and open to the public. Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase a copy of “Highway 61: Heart of the Delta” and have it signed by Norris following the presentation.
