Delta State University alumni, family, and friends can show their support and help fund scholarships for Delta State students by purchasing the new university license plate. The new plate can be purchased through the local county tax collector’s office.
"Timing is perfect with the academic school year, upcoming football season, and fall activities right around the corner," stated Jeffrey Farris, Director of Alumni Affairs. "We want all Delta State faithful to embrace the new design and encourage others to purchase the tag. Purchasing a Delta State tag is one of the best ways to support your university as an alumni, friend, faculty/staff member, or current student."
In Mississippi, nearly 700 drivers represent Delta State with a university license plate. The price of the plate is approximately $53.50 per year, in addition to the standard fee. Of that, $32.50 goes back to Delta State University Alumni Association which directly impacts scholarships available within the association.
