Dr. Luther Brown, Director of the DSU Delta Center for Culture and Learning, recently presented a talk to participants in the Mississippi State University Stennis Institute for Government’s Your Town workshop. The title of his presentation was “Heritage as the basis for Community and Economic Development.”
The Your Town program was attended by 40 city administrators, planners, and economic development officers from throughout the state. It was funded by the Appalachian Regional Authority and the Stennis Institute and will be presented again in 2013.
