The Delta Center for Culture and Learning at Delta State University recently provided an introduction to the Delta’s cultural heritage to thirty-five students from Mississippi State University.  The group, which included six foreign students from as far away as Brazil and India, were in the Delta for a week-long Alternative Spring Break experience.  They were based in Greenwood, but toured Cleveland, Ruleville, Mound Bayou, Greenwood and Clarksdale.

Mississippi State expects to expand their service learning classes in the Delta, hoping to offer four by this time next year.
