Moxley to present Senior Voice Recital in the Bologna Performing Arts Center

Brittany MoxleyThe Delta State University Department of Music presents Brittany Moxley in her senior voice recital at 1:30p.m. on Thursday, Novemeber 3rd  in the Recital Hall of the Bologna Performing Arts Center.

Dr. Kumiko Shimizu, faculty accompanist and assistant professor of music at Delta State, will serve as collaborative pianist for the recital.  

Moxley is the daughter of Angela Emerson of Greenville and Elvis Moxley of Como and is a senior music education major graduating this spring.  She is the student of Dr. Mary Lenn Buchanan, professor of voice and opera at Delta State University.

Since her arrival at Delta State in the fall of 2008, Moxley has been an active member of Delta Singers, performed in the Delta State Opera and participated in the 2011 Ensemble Competition.  She is an active member of the Gamma Zeta Chapter of Mu Phi Epsilon.  

Moxley will be performing the works of George Frederic Handel, Gabriel Fauré, Hugo Wolf, and Roger Quilter
