Delta State’s Continuing Education to offer Art programs for children

Let your child explore their creative side with Art!  Delta State’s Graduate and Continuing Studies will offer two great After School Arts programs for 4k-6th grade for the fall semester.

Mini Expressions Art:
Katie Franklin will teach your children about different types of lines, abstract art, mixing colors, and many other techniques and styles of art to create "one of a kind" pieces to take home and cherish for years to come.  This class is open to children in 4k-5k and will be held in Wright Art Building room 111.  Mini Expressions will meet on Mondays, October 10 thru November 14 at 3:30pm and will last 6 weeks.  Cost for the program will be $65.00 per child.
 
After School Arts:                                                                                               
1st – 6th graders will make several works of art each week using different techniques and mediums.  Jondelyn Catlette will teach this art program on Thursdays, Sept. 22 – Dec. 1, 2011 from 3:30 to 4:30pm.  The class will be held in the Wright Art Gallery Room 111 and cost $125 per child for 9 sessions (supplies/materials included).  The deadline to register for After School Arts is Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2011.
