Fosheim and Ravetto to perform in faculty recital at Delta State

The Delta State University Department of Music will present Anne-Gaëlle Ravetto, violin, and Dr. Karen Fosheim, piano, in a faculty recital at 3 p.m., Sunday, April 17, in the Recital Hall of the Bologna Performing Arts Center.

The event “An Afternoon of Violin and Piano Music,” will feature works by J.S. Bach, Schubert, Ysaÿe and Franck.

Ravetto is a freelance violinist and teacher. She is an adjunct faculty member of the Delta State Music Department, serves as a collaborative artist, and maintains a private teaching studio.
Fosheim, professor of music at Delta State, teaches piano and music theory courses, and directs the Delta State Community Drumming Experience.  In addition, she maintains a private piano studio and is organist for Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church in Cleveland.
