Delta State fashion merchandising student wins award at national competition

Over 420 entries in various apparel/design categories were submitted to the annual competition, with fewer than half featured on the runway, and only about 10% receiving awards. Nine of the 14 design submissions (64%) from Delta State students were featured in the show.

Other students who had garments shown included Bre Clay, senior from Greenville, Andrea Haynes, senior from Cleveland, Megan Parks, senior from Belzoni, Fongettia Triplett, senior from Indianola, and Kimberly Waddell, senior from Clinton.
