30th annual F.E. Woodall Spring Conference for Helping Professionals set for April 6

Dr. Don W. LockeDelta State University Division of Counselor Education & Psychology will host its 30th annual F.E. Woodall Spring Conference for Helping Professions on Wednesday, April 6, on the third floor of James M. Ewing Hall on the campus.

The one-day workshop offers an opportunity to network with other counselors, attend valuable and enlightening workshops, and receive CEU credit hours.  

The day will be highlighted by a morning keynote by Dr. Don W. Locke, dean of the School of Education at Mississippi College and president-elect of the American Counselor Association.  Multiple breakout sessions will provide community counselors, school counselors, counselor educators, social workers and other helping professionals with valuable tools for use in a wide variety of situations and work environments.  

Registration fee is $45 for faculty, staff, and the general public and $20 for Delta State students with proper identification. Registration is from 8-9 a.m. with sessions beginning at 9 a.m.
