Delta State to offer a variety of programs during National Library Week

The Delta State University Roberts-LaForge Library will offer a variety of programs during National Library Week, April 10 -16.  

Steven Craddock will discuss his book, ”A Greater Degree of Pardonable Pride: A Centennial History of Cleveland High School, 1906-2006,” from 6-7 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, in the Jutta Karnsted Ferretti Special Collections Room on the 2nd floor of the Library.

Davis Raines, Nashville recording artist, and Tricia Walker, director of the Delta Music Institute (DMI), will present their lecture “Poetry of the People: Country Music Lyrics and American Social Change,” which includes music at 6 p.m., Thursday, April 14, in the Instructional Resources Center on the 1st floor of the Library.
