Todd Davis, Outdoor Recreation Education coordinator through the “Dave Heflin Professorship” at Delta State University, along with the Healthy Campus/Community Initiative is continuing to accept nominations for “Health Champions.”
The premise behind this project is to identify people at Delta State University and in the Cleveland community who are making a difference in the health and fitness culture. If you are active and healthy, encouraging others to be conscious of a healthy lifestyle, or creating health/fitness/nutrition programs for yourself and others, you could be the next “Health Champion.”
Tell us what you are doing to advocate change in our community by nominating yourself, or by nominating someone who fits the definition of a health champion.
