Delta State University’s office of Graduate and Continuing Studies will host an educational field trip to explore the Civil War and Old South history April 1-3, in Vicksburg.
Delta State faculty and guest lecturers will provide participants with a fascinating, firsthand journey of the Civil War era through a series of lectures and tours including the Vicksburg National Military Park where participants can walk in the footsteps of soldiers.
The cost is $225 per person for the entire weekend which includes Hotel accommodations at the Hampton Inn and Suites located across from the Vicksburg National Military Park. Rooms are double occupancy; however private rooms are available for an additional fee.
The fieldtrip is open to the public. Deadline to register is Feb. 1.
