Delta State professor’s conference paper wins best at show

Paulson (at left), is pictured with Sejin Kim, a student at Tulane University,  who won the best paper by a graduate student.  Dr. Sally Paulson, assistant professor of Communication Studies at Delta State University, paper entitled  “Milliken v. Bradley: The Supreme Court Permits White Flight to Identify the Core City,” won best conference paper at the  Annual Louisiana Communication Association Conference that took place recently in New Orleans.  

The conference theme was “Who Dat: Heroes, Hardship and the Power of Narrative.”  Presenters from Louisiana State University at Baton Rouge, Alexandria, and Shreveport; Tulane University; Xavier University; Loyola University; University of New Orleans; Mississippi State University; Southeastern Louisiana University, among others, attended the conference.
