Delta State’s Graduate and Continuing Studies to offer belly dancing fitness class in Greenville

Belly dancing is a fun new way to exercise that burns calories and builds muscle tone. Delta State University’s Graduate and Continuing Studies will offer belly dancing classes on Tuesdays, Sept. 7 – Oct.12, in Suite 329 of the Greenville Higher Education Center. Beginners class will meet from 6-7 p.m., followed by advanced class from 7-8 p.m.

Teri Herron, assistant professor of music at Delta State, will be the program instructor. Participants will learn the basic moves of belly dancing that increase core strength and endurance. No experience is needed! Recruit a friend or come make new friends!

Cost is $60 per person which includes all six class sessions. Space is limited and early registration is encouraged.
