Delta State University hosts Delta International Film and Video Festival

Delta State University will host the 2010 Delta International Film and Video Festival (DIFVF) Wednesday, April 21 – Friday, April 23, with film screenings to take place in the Recital Hall at the Bologna Performing Arts Center on the campus.

 
Screening times are Wednesday, April 21 at 6 p.m.; Thursday, April 22 at 5:30 p.m. and Friday, April 23 at 6 p.m.
 
The 2010 DIFVF presents a variety of extraordinary films from the United States and abroad. International films from Canada, Germany, India, Japan, South Korea, and Spain will be screened. Many different types of films will be shown, including animations, experimental films, short films, and student work.
 
The DIFVF will also feature work from the Delta State film and video program in a Student Showcase. The audience will choose the best student film.
 
The 2010 DIFVF is proud to be a part of Delta State University’s Year of the Arts. Full screening schedule with programming information can be found at www.difvf.com.
