Delta State University’s Department of Music will present guest artist, Kimberly Jackson Carballo, and Delta State faculty soprano, Dr. Teri A. Herron, in a concert of Spanish song on Tuesday, April 20, at 7:30 p.m., in the Recital Hall of the Bologna Performing Arts Center on campus.
The concert will provide a musical tour of Spain, Latin America, and the Caribbean, through the works of Spanish composers Enrique Granados and Xavier Montsalvatge, Argentine composer Carlos Guastavino, Chilean composer Alfonso Montecino, and Mexican composer Manuel Ponce.
