The Student Alumni Association (SAA) at Delta State University recently wrote letters to former yearbook editors asking for donations to “save the yearbook.” The $975 that was collected helped secure 500 copies of the 2010 yearbook.

During a recent ceremony, Linda Ross, director of the H.L. Nowell Union, was honored by having the 2010 year “The Broom” dedicated to her for years of service to Delta State.

The recipient of this honor is chosen from a list of exceptional faculty and staff who have been employed at Delta State for ten years or more, involved with campus activities, the student body, and the yearbook.
