Delta State University’s Department ofCommercial Aviation hosted its annual open house on Friday, April 9, at Delta State’s Flight Operations Center.
Twenty one students from southeast region attended the open house. The students were greeted by faculty and faculty, and were briefed on what to expect when majoring in Flight Operations, Aviation Management, and Airway Science, as well as information on financial aid, housing, and admissions requirements to ease the transition into college.
Recent graduates in the industry attended the open house to help interested students shore up their career decision. The students were also invited to take a discovery flight to get them more excited about what flying is all about.
