Delta State University’s Department of Music will present Dr. Teri A. Herron, soprano, and Dr. Christopher Meerdink, tenor, in a faculty recital on Tuesday, Oct. 13, at 7:30 p.m. in the Recital Hall of the Bologna Performing Arts Center on campus.
The performance will include two of the most famous song cycles in the German repertoire: Beethoven’s watershed “An die ferne Geliebte” (On the far away beloved) and Schumann’s touching “Frauenliebe und Leben”(A woman’s love and life).
