By November 29, 2007General

The Delta State University College of Business is scheduled to launch an online master’s of business administration (MBA) degree program, beginning Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2008.

Designed with professionals in mind, the Integrated Master of Business Administration (iMBA) program consists of 10 required courses, each of which earns 3 credit hours. The program is an “integrated” module approach, with three modules: Module I – Financial Strategy; Module II – Strategic Planning; and Module III – Operational Strategy.

A hybrid design, the iMBA program has a convenient online delivery with limited in person visits per module. Online classes may feature chat and discussion activities with other students and faculty. This program will also allow opportunities to build professional networks with peers, faculty and business leaders. Additionally, hands-on learning opportunities may be scheduled with local facilities and agencies.

The iMBA has been developed for professionals and managers seeking to expand their interpersonal, managerial and leadership skills in preparation for mobility, advancement and promotional opportunities.
