In today's world, email is almost equivalent to the air we breath. Nothing revolves around it, but everyone relies on it. Hate it or love it, email is not going away. The question, however, is what makes it so important that many people can barely live without it?
Blackboard CE6 will be in full production starting with the Spring intercession May 14, 2007. The WebCT 4.1 server will not be available after May 14, 2007. Training for migration of courses from WebCT 4.1 to CE 6 has been ongoing. CE6 is now tightly integrated with Banner. The new system will no longer require manual creation of courses, students, or the enrollment of students into online courses. Faculty can now see the courses that are assigned to them in Banner for Intercession, summer sessions and the fall semester. If you log into CE6 (make sure to use your DSU ID # and PIN number) and do not see the course you are to teaching, make sure that you are assigned that course in Banner by confirming with Academic Affairs. If you need help with the migration of your courses or have other questions involving CE 6.0, please contact OIT at 4444.
