Families Together Forum

Saturday, October 12, 2013 Jacob Center – Ewing Hall 9 am to 12 pm & lunch

The Families Together Forum is a grassroots effort to combat isolation for families of children and young adults with exceptionalities at several levels: feeling alone in the parenting process; feeling isolated of our rural region; and building and strengthening networks.

It is an opportunity for under-served families to connect with families who have access and knowledge of existing local support groups and resources. It provides information directly from these support groups and resources.

The Special Education Program of the Division of Teacher Education, Leadership, and Research and the Delta State University Diversity Committee is hosting a Families Together Forum on Saturday October 12th from 9 to noon in the Jacob Conference Center in Ewing Hall on campus. We will provide a pizza lunch afterwards for registered participants.
