The Writing Center staff offers help and feedback at all stages of your writing process.

Organizing and developing an argument
Identifying and resolving problems of sentence structure, grammar, and punctuation
Using style manuals (MLA, APA, etc.) for writing in various disciplines

English 305: Applied Writing:
Academic credit can be earned for sustained work in
the Writing Center during the course of a semester. Graded CR.
May be repeated up to 7 times for credit.
Not applicable to any major or minor.

For emergency aid when the DSU Writing Center is not open, try Purdue University’s Online Writing Lab. Although they cannot read your essays, you can use the site to find information on the following topics:
