Speech and Hearing Clinic

The Speech and Hearing Clinic is dedicated to serving the speech, language and hearing needs of individuals with communication disorders. A comprehensive range of clinical services are available for children and adults, including speech, language examinations and therapy, and audiological screenings.

The clinic serves:

  • Members of the Community

  • Staff

Students attending Delta State University that have speech and/or hearing problems are encouraged to contact the clinic early in their first semester of residence. In addition, the Speech and Hearing Clinic offers assistance to those students for who English is a second language.

The clinic is an educational training facility for undergraduate students preparing for careers in speech-language pathology. Our students gain an extensive background by being introduced to a broad spectrum of communicative disorders.
